The Rev. Dr. Edward Kryder

Adjunct Professor,
Virginia Theological Seminary

 

The Rev. Dr. Edward Kryder has been Adjunct Professor of Pastoral Theology at Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria since 1985, following rectorships in Episcopal parishes over a period of 28 years, with various leadership posts in the National Church, the Diocese of Western New York and metropolitan Buffalo. After his degree from Princeton University, four years as a Naval Reserve officer in World War II gave way to five years in business. He has been at various times sought as consultant to rectors, vestries and architects on design and renovation. In 1972 he was honored with a fellowship at Salisbury Theological College in England.
